Overview
Will It Fit helps you plan trailer loads on your device. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how Supabase and RevenueCat protect your account and cloud data.
Data we process
- Account: email, display name, and authentication identifiers (Supabase Auth).
- App content: freight types, trailer presets, saved loads, stacking plans, load-height presets, and related settings.
- Device cache: plans and settings stored locally for offline use (AsyncStorage).
- More+ cloud sync: when your More+ entitlement is active, custom freight, trailers, saved loads, stacking plans, and load-height presets sync to Supabase under your account.
- Billing: purchases are handled by Apple App Store via RevenueCat. We store subscription status and entitlement flags—not payment card numbers.
What we do not collect
We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising or cross-app tracking. Location and contacts are not required to use the app. Photo-library access is only requested if you choose to save a photo export (for example, a shareable packing slip or screenshot).
Account & authentication
An account is required to use Will It Fit. Sign in with Apple or email and password through Supabase Auth. Sessions are stored on your device and communicate over HTTPS. More+ subscriptions are purchased through native in-app billing (RevenueCat).
Cloud storage & Row Level Security
Cloud tables use Postgres Row Level Security (RLS) so each user can access only their own rows:
- profiles — read and update your own profile.
- user_entitlements — read your own entitlement row; writes are server-side (RevenueCat webhook).
- user_freight_types, user_custom_trailer_presets, user_saved_loads, user_load_height_presets — your rows only; writes require an active More+ entitlement.
When More+ lapses, you may still read your existing cloud data, but cloud writes are blocked until you renew. Built-in trailer presets remain on your device.
Storage on your device
Load plans and settings cache locally so you can work offline. Signing out keeps a local snapshot on this device until you clear app data. Free-tier limits apply when More+ is inactive (for example, limited saved-load history and one trailer preset).
Your choices
You can sign out, delete individual loads, or permanently delete your account from Options. Account deletion removes your auth user and cloud data; cancel any active App Store subscription separately in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Shared or saved images are exported only when you choose to share or save them.
Security practices
Use a strong password and keep your device updated. Cloud access is scoped by RLS policies defined in the project database migrations.
Children
Will It Fit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Legal disclaimer
Weight, axle, and layout estimates are planning aids only. Will It Fit is not liable for overweight tickets, bridge violations, cargo damage, or unsafe loading. Always verify against shipper instructions, carrier policies, and applicable state and federal rules.
